Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze was won by the balance bar. She was one of the few American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. Gold medals she took home at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the United States team. This made her, together with her teammate Gabby the first Americans to accomplish this feat. In addition, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around individual event and in the floor. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Also, she has been an athlete on two gold medal winning world championship teams. Her favourite event is floor exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was just two years old. young. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She hopes to build a career in fashion. Aly would like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
